Creative Email Design

Emails work when people read them. To get someone to read your email, you have to make sure the message is directed to them, and that the email is designed to draw the reader in and explore further. This means it has to be simple and include obvious eye-directing graphics, with sufficient use of bold headings, catchy phrases, bold offers and easy-to-read copy. Plus, it has to be consistent with your overall brand, communicate your differentiating message, and look professional.

Fulfillment Emails

The fulfillment email program will automatically send emails to confirmed guests at pre-set intervals based on their dates of stay. For example, if a guest will arrive on August 10, an email can go out 4 weeks prior to that date with a link to an online survey. Another email a couple of weeks out will highlight some of the local activities or special events. Another email a week out will provide a link to the weather forecast.

Post stay, the guest will receive a satisfaction survey and another email the following week with an incentive for a future visit.

Both the pre and post-stay emails can automatically trigger other emails based on pre-determined business rules. For example, if an email doesn't get read, it could trigger another email with a different subject line and slightly different message. A cancellation could trigger a special "sorry you won't be staying with us" email. The possibilities are limitless.

Email Campaigns

An email campaign would consist of a specialized email with a specific offer sent to a very targeted list of prospects and/or previous guests. For example, since you know when someone called last year, you can send them an email at about the same time again this year. Or, you can send a special golf promotion email to all those interested in golf. Or you can contact those who were turned down during your peak season due to lack of availability and provide them with a special offer for your shoulder season. Again, the possibilities are limitless.
